In season one, we kicked it off with "How to Boss Up in Your Business and Life" with guest expert and my awesome branding client, Melissa Jakes "The Olivia Pope of Live Events", CEO and Founder of Rescue Event Planning, Event Planner to Influencers, Host of Mommypreneur Wednesdays, Public Speaker and Author!
Melissa and I started working together almost 5 years ago. We met and it just clicked. When Melissa and I started working together she wanted to build her confidence, build her social media presence, and build her business.
Since that time, in the last 5 years during our time together, Melissa has planned over 100 events, secured a contract with the MLK Memorial Foundation, spoken at Facebook, received numerous awards and accolades, and positioned herself as the "Olivia Pope of Live Events."
She has successfully helped influencers, coaches, authors, small businesses, non-profits plan amazing in person and virtual events.
In addition to being a powerhouse event planner, business women, business mentor, author and speaker Melissa has recently welcomed a new bundle of joy, helps her daughter run her social media brand, and incorporated her husband in her business model as her video editor for her clients.
